Farmhouse
Bed & Breakfast Inn
is home
to Peter and Sharmon Kenyon who run a farm-oreinted bed and breakfast
with four guest rooms. Built in 1905, our farmhouse is fully
renovated, clean and comfortable decorated in Mission style with
no Victoriana.
All
four guest rooms are on the second floor (21 steps).
Two
guest rooms have one queen bed and private bath.
Two guest rooms
have one full bed and one twin bed; these two rooms share a bathroom.
There
are no telephones or televisions in guest rooms but we do provide
wireless Internet.
The
sitting room has books, puzzles, and games as well as a small television.
We
serve a full breakfast; we can adapt our menu to vegetarian or other
preferences.
Check-in
is from 4PM to 6PM. Call
to arrange earlier or later check-in.
RiverBar
Farm
is 18 acres
located on California's North Coast in Humboldt County, about 18
miles south of Eureka, near Fortuna and near the Avenue of the Giants
(a scenic drive through the Redwood Forest). We keep a few farm
animals and we sell farm-raised, grassfed beef. Wild
birds are abundant and sometimes we see coyotes, bobcats, deer,
and elk. Jake is our McNabb-cross farm dog. We enjoy
life here and we hope to share it with you whether you're in Humboldt
County for a special event or just passing through.
